FAQs
When did you start drawing?
I've always been drawing from time to time since I was a kid, but started drawing seriously in 2018-2023, basically took a break for 1.5 years, and then started drawing again in mid 2025 :)Who are the people in your artworks?
I don't know π I get my references from Pinterest so I'm clueless about who they actually are before someone tells me :)How do you improve at art?
- I always make note of what I could've done better with each drawing, and try to apply it to the next drawing I do. The more things you can find and fix, the more you'll improve.
- I also practice fundamentals by doing studies or drawing 3D shapes.
- I also consume a LOT of art and art-related content and think about how I can apply what I see into my own drawings :)How do you shade?
- I shade in layers, applied with gradually increasing pressure using sharpened pencils. I start from 2H pencils for the first few layers, and then gradually move up to 4B as more layers get added (and the values get built up more). I use a 6B pencil for areas that I need to be really dark (e.g. black hair). What tools do you use?
- Staedtler Luminograph 2H pencil
- Faber Castell Goldfaber 2B, 4B, 6B pencils
- Faber Castell Classic Coloured Pencils
- Kneadable Eraser
- Eraser sticks
- Electric eraserWhat paper do you use?
I use 150 gsm paper, but anything above 110 gsm is fine :)

W1LLSEE (W1ll)Hello :) Iβm a design student in Sydney who likes to draw. I was born and raised in Seoul, but moved to Sydney when I was 8.A lot of the ideas for my personal work come from whatβs significant to me or how I feel about the world around me at the time, distilled into the artworks you see.Art is essential in my life as something that makes life a little more enjoyable for me and keeps me able to express myself. I want it to be something that I can eventually have as a full-time job and lets me meet lots of amazing people.I want to create to the best of my ability, focusing on how much quality my art has and how positively it can impact you, the audience. It's also important to me that what I create is unique to my own voice & identity.
